a happiness there was

an envy of the world

an envy that is no more:

misery of the one
proclaimed for the many
the end of envy:

happiness
how random
not normal
an immoral statistician's luck
a probability unbecoming
there's no meandering of law or moral -
no happiness can legislate
an impossibility within
without the law

a tear or two
dead spots of ever fluider language

a smile connives with words
complicity's words unite
as if a sentence of the few
can liberate the many
