I sat warm</p>

<p>my face burning now<br />
from reflections of warm and light<br />
and cold and wind and sun<br />
still playing a winter theme</p>

<p>put some plastic on top of snow:<br />
want to put out clover seed<br />
onto that ground covered with snow<br />
frozen sand deeply frozen sand<br />
so hungry for some organic stuff</p>

<p>snow will melt and water will go away<br />
and nothing will be left for my vegetables</p>

<p>no mulch to keep that moisture here<br />
no worms to do their digging for me</p>

<p>I am what the garden one day will give me<br />
but I will have to give my thoughts to it first<br />

daily daylight is under ten hours</p>

vigorous plant growth goes over ten hours into spring and summer...</p>
